Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Manal Saffoury is a licensed General Contractor in the United States, holding licensure in over 35 states and qualified to deliver both residential and commercial projects nationwide, as well as a commercial and residential licensed builder in Australia. A graduate of Swinburne University in Melbourne, she brings an international, engineering-driven approach to construction focused on precision, constructability, and execution.
Since founding Bending Moment, Manal has been involved in projects throughout Charlotte and surrounding communities, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term value. Under her leadership, the company continues to expand across residential and commercial sectors.
Kane Flanary
Chief Finanical Officer
Kane Flanary brings over 20 years of experience in hotel renovations across the United States, with more than 400 successfully completed projects. His deep, hands-on knowledge of hospitality construction and renovation has made him a valuable asset to Bending Moment LLC.
As President, Kane works closely with project teams to ensure efficient execution, consistent quality, and on-time delivery. His practical leadership and industry expertise continue to drive successful outcomes across complex renovation and construction projects.
Edward Saffoury
President
Edward Saffoury brings over 20 years of construction and development experience across New South Wales, Australia, with a diverse portfolio spanning government, residential, and commercial projects. His background includes work with the New South Wales Department of Housing, the delivery of multiple single-residence homes, multi-story commercial buildings, and extensive experience in industrial steel building construction.
As President of Bending Moment, Edward contributes deep technical knowledge, hands-on leadership, and a disciplined approach to project execution. His expertise in industrial steel structures, combined with public-sector and private development experience, strengthens the company’s capability to deliver complex residential, commercial, and industrial projects with precision and reliability.

With over 20 years of construction and development experience in Australia, our team brings proven methodologies in industrial steel buildings, commercial construction, and residential development to projects across the United States. Beginning with the construction of four warehouses and two office buildings in Milton, Florida, our work has expanded to include luxury residential construction and the ongoing development of a 30-townhome community in Matthews, North Carolina. By integrating Australian construction standards, efficiency-driven practices, and hands-on project execution with U.S. codes and market requirements, Bending Moment delivers residential, commercial, and industrial projects with precision, durability, and long-term value.
